3 types of dismissal

There are 3 types of dismissal from your post:

Contractual dismissal – your employer terminates your employment with or without notice
Constructive dismissal – when working conditions have been rendered intolerable and you have no choice but to resign
Unfair dismissal - where you have been selected for dismissal, and your employer has no valid justification for doing so, or has not followed the correct procedure. This can also occur when an employer terminates your employment for an ‘automatically unfair reason’, such as requesting flexible working or being pregnant.
